Dear Rocky Point Community,
The Rocky Point School District will celebrate the outstanding work of our dedicated professionals as we mark this year’s Teacher Appreciation Day, which is designated as May 5, 2015. Additionally, this week is First Student’s Employee Appreciation Week. These two occurrences give us, as a community, the opportunity to recognize the valuable contribution these individuals, and all of our staff, provide to the community’s students.
Within the classroom, our teachers are the keys that unlock inspiration and creativity in our students. With the help of their colleagues, they often go the extra mile to support, encourage and nurture our young learners to become tomorrow’s leaders. Their passion for the profession, diverse skill sets and dedication to the teaching craft are deserving of our sincerest praise and recognition.
Our transportation professionals from First Student are devoted to getting students to and from school safely and on the road to success. Their commitment to delivering the highest-quality student transportation service provides comfort to our district’s families as they entrust them with the safety and well-being of their children daily.
Please join me in celebrating these individuals, and all of our dedicated staff members, many of whom have spent their decades-long careers servicing the families of Rocky Point.
