On what was a picture-perfect September day, the Rocky Point School District community came together to demonstrate their overwhelming support for the Rocky Point Eagles and celebrate Homecoming 2014.
Prior to the football game’s kickoff, community members of all ages lined the street in front of Rocky Point High School for this year’s homecoming parade. Hundreds of onlookers waved and applauded this highlight of homecoming that showcased Grand Marshall Joseph Spina, Homecoming Queen and King, the high school marching band, the Eagle mascot, and cheerleaders. Brightening up the procession were floats created by each class at the high school, as well as creative banners fashioned by the district’s other three schools.
