The Rocky Point School District will celebrate the outstanding work of our dedicated professionals as we mark this year’s Teacher Appreciation Day, which is designated as May 5, 2015. Additionally, this week is First Student’s Employee Appreciation Week. These two occurrences give us, as a community, the opportunity to recognize the valuable contribution these individuals, and all of our staff, provide to the community’s students. From helping to inspire greatness within the classroom, to ensuring students travel safely on a regular basis, to supporting instruction and the operation of our schools, they are an integral party of nurturing today’s students to become tomorrow’s leaders. The district invites all community members to extend a special thank-you to these professionals, as well as its entire staff, during this celebratory occasion.
