Rocky Point Middle School seventh-grader Heather Kuhn was named a winner in this year’s Scholastic Action Magazine Writing Contest. Under the direction of her English teacher Megan Parise, Heather drafted a submission called “A Pill for Passwords.” Recognizing that, on average, people use passwords 39 times a day, Heather’s piece responded to the idea of a pill that would help people remember these key items.
As a contest honoree, Heather received an Amazon gift card.
